Sea buckthorn is a deciduous shrub or small tree with bright orange berries and silvery leaves. It's also known as sandthorn, sallowthorn, or seaberry.
Sea buckthorn has been used in traditional medicine for centuries in China and Greece. It contains many bioactive compounds, including vitamins, carotenoids, polyphenols, fatty acids, and phytosterols. Sea buckthorn has many health benefits, such as antioxidant, anticancer, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, antiviral, and dermatological activities.
